Hey there,

well its been a few days on the road now, we have done about 13 performances and the show is continuing to teach me a new lesson everyday.

Sometimes the lesson lay in the craft of acting for young audiences, sometimes in the way I relate to the play and my fellow cast members, and other times the lessons are unknown.

I’ve had the chance to see family and friends that I have not seen in a long time. I’ve shared many laughs, the kind of laughing that makes your belly hurt.

My brother Jesse came to see one of our performances in Kenora and that was a treat. If any of you have any questions about the show, about acting, about secondary education, anything really, please feel free to reply.

I am so proud that I get the chance to give back to many of the communities that helped raise me into the human being that I am today.

Miigwetch.

    Hey,
Thank you so much for your Performance at OISE/UT! It was amazing!! My classmates and I honestly talked about it all day! It was really special for me! Thanks again for all of your hard work and dedication. I have already phoned up my aunt and have told her to get in contact with your company. She is an education counsellor for the Watha Mohawks and I really think that the community and surrounding communities would truly benefit from this experience!

I too wanted to thank you for your performance at OISE/UT today. I had no idea what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely riveted! It was beautiful, touching and so well acted. It has given me even more motivation to be a great teacher! I will be sure to bring the discussion of First Nations contributions to our county, into the classroom in many ways and mediums,as well as addressing the injustice, stereotypes and prejudice. Considering First Nations people are such a huge and amazing part of Canadian history, they should be viewed as a national treasure not a burden. I hope you get to tour to every single kid in the country as this should be seen by all (grown-ups too). I laughed, I cried, I contemplated. Thank you for today, I will never forget it. Take care.
